Made of inherently flame resistant fabric and flame resistant sewing thread, BLUE EAGLE’s arc flash garments have inherent, fire extinguishing properties for the ultimate protection, minimizing injury in the event of and arc flash incident.

This is CAT 4 arc-rated garment complied with NFPA 70E, ASTM F2178 and ANSI Z87.1.

By using advanced multilayer inherent flame resistant fabric, the garment has super lightweight of 380 gsm and users want to wear it at all times while working.

The faceshield is made using extrusion-grade polycarbonate (PC) with the highest specifications for mechanical strength, allowing it to withstand the impact of a 6 mm steel bead traveling at a speed of 190 m/s at extremes of temperatures.

- Resistance to ignition
European Standard testing was used. An iron rod measuring 6 mm in diameter and 300 mm in length was heated at one end to a temperature of 650℃. The heated end was pressed against the sample surface using its own weight for 5 seconds. The faceshield did not catch fire nor glow red.
- Protection against hot solids
Our faceshields are made using extrusion-grade polycarbonate and have been tested to European standards on protection against penetration by hot solids. In the test method described by the European standard, the faceshield prevent the penetration by a 6-mm diameter steel bead heated to a temperature 900℃.
- Professional Safety Helmet included
A BLUE EAGLE HR36 safety helmet is included. HR36 is a professional safety helmet which certified by CE EN 397 440V a.c. and ANSI Z89.1 electrical insulation Class E – 20,000 volts.
