Description
- Shock absorption (ANSI)
In the event of impact, the 8-point harness design is capable of improving the distribution of the force over the entire head to reduce the damage caused by the impact. 4 cones have been placed along the joints of the helmet harness and shell to absorb a portion of the incoming forces and provide the user with greater protection against impacts.
According to standard testing methods provided in ANSI Z89.1, a standard 3.6 kg striker hit the safety helmet at a velocity of 5.5 m/s. The helmet should afford sufficient protection to the wearer’s head and ensure that the force of impact transmitted to the head does not exceed 4450N. - Penetration Protection (ANSI)
According to standard testing methods provided in ANSI Z89.1, a standard 1 kg penetrator hit the safety helmet at a speed of 7.0 m/s. The helmet should afford sufficient protection to the wearer’s head and prevent any injury caused by the puncture hammer. - ANSI Z89.1 Class E (Electrical)
Class E helmets are intended to reduce the danger of contact with higher voltage conductors. The helmets are proof-tested at 20,000 volts (phase to ground). This voltage is not intended as an indication of the voltage at which the helmet protects the wearer. - Made in Taiwan
